Cheap Ibiza Weddings

Cheap Ibiza weddings.

It seems that wherever I look recently the word ‘cheap’ is entering the web for Ibiza weddings. Do people really want to have a cheap Ibiza wedding? Or are they just looking for fair prices?  I am a real advocate of fair prices, I really hate to be ripped off and I also hate to think other people are too, especially young couples who are starting out on their journey of a life together.  So shopping around looking for a good deal is well worth it.  It is one of the most important days of a couple’s life together, so therefore value for money is important but not as important of having everything just perfect for this very special day.

Ibiza has a beautiful ambiance for a romantic wedding, and as such weddings have always been unique here – a day to remember – for a lifetime.

But suddenly it seems that the whole of Ibiza has joined the bandwagon in creating ‘cheap Ibiza weddings’. Previously this was a sacred area and only well established venues, caterers and wedding planners took on this work, it now appears that if you speak some Spanish and know a few people then you can hop on to what they appear to think is a gravy train.

So as young couples were searching around for good prices now they are being bombarded by offerings to good to be true.  So please beware, it is not a rehearsal everything should be right on your one and only day.

I know I have said this before, but I am going to say it again, when planning a wedding in Ibiza, do shop around, and then visit the Island and speak with suppliers/ wedding planners/venues DIRECT.

If you are unable to visit the Island or prefer someone to take the strain of the day, then contact a few wedding planners and compare how they respond and how you feel in response to them, you can tell quite a lot from just a few emails.  There are some extremely good well established wedding planners on the Island, who are able to make your wedding day as unique as you are, but you have to be comfortable with them and of course comfortable with  the price.

Make sure you have a list of questions, so that you know and they know exactly what will be included (and what is not), also ask how much experience they have, you may meet someone extremely friendly and willing to help – but have they done this before??? Back to the start:  cheap wedding anyone????   Do you really want your special day to be deemed as a: cheap Ibiza wedding!!!!
